Carlilian Foundation Announces New Grant Program Grants Focused on

CHILD HEALTH & WELFARE

March 2010:  The Carlilian Foundation announced plans to distribute funds toward a new grant program focused on improving the health and welfare of children in Schenectady County, New York. This is the first of a three-year commitment the Foundation has made to this cause. Among the needs the Foundation hopes to address are child health and safety, quality childcare, hunger and nutrition, shelter and housing, and improvements to recreational and fitness facilities.

The Foundation anticipates making at least one grant of as much as $25,000 toward this new grant program this year, with the possibility of continuation of this funding for the next two years.

Should your organization wish to request funding for this new program, please use the application available using the "Apply" tab on this website and be sure to indicate under the "Project Description" section a title of "Child Health & Welfare Initiative".

The Foundation’s funding is primarily intended to support capital improvements, equipment, supplies or purchase of other fixed assets.
